Irish farmer Aidan Martin has 108 cattle in his herd and 75 acres of land. One-third of the land is low dry land and two-thirds of the land is high dry land. The land is across from the yard which makes it difficult for milking as the herd needs to be brought across the road. This slows down the process. Aidan was conscious that his cattle weren’t getting enough of the minerals they needed to keep them healthy. Excess meal was used to compensate for the lack of nutrients in the herd diet, and this was proving to be costly for the farm.

The decision was made to get the TERRA NutriTECH System as it is a mineral package tailored to the herd’s needs. Adding the TERRA NutriTECH System to the farm meant that the minerals needed by the herd is added to the water. This is then dispersed evenly throughout the grass. By adding the number in the herd and the recommended dosage per cow to the device ensures that each cow gets enough of the nutrients they need.

By adding this system to the farm Aidan has seen a significant improvement to the herd’s overall health. Breeding is also going very well. The herd’s coats are very shiny which also makes them look very healthy.
