TERRA NutriTECH manufactures mineral products at our custom-built Irish Department of Agriculture approved facility in Moone, Athy, Co Kildare, Ireland. (Licence number aIEKE240965) We produce minerals and supplementary feeds, trademarked ‘Blendbio’ in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 European Union Register of Feed Additives (Licence number aIEKE240965). This ensures that quality stable minerals are blended with high bioavailability. We are licensed to produce for both the Irish and EU markets.
All minerals are traceable to production date/batch/ raw material origin, and full up to date Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures are in place for the production, storage and delivery of the minerals.
Bord Bía Certified
We are proud that all minerals and supplementary feeds we produce are certified by Bord Bia under the Feed Quality Assurance Standard since 2017. This standard entails a rigorous audit process to ensure full compliance. All procedures and systems are examined; from the sourcing of raw materials, through to the manufacturing process, right through to the end-user. All products are fully traceable from raw materials to customer herds.
Organic Range
For organic farms, or those considering converting to organic farming, we have developed an Organic range of mineral products. This range is produced to the highest of standards and has been approved by the Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association since 2020. Following an in-depth on-site audit from IOFGA and a careful examination of all raw materials and ingredients used, the TERRA NutriTECH Organic Range is certified for use in organic systems. Therefore, customers can rest assured that TERRA NutriTECH products meet the organic standard of approval.
Manufacturing Cycle & Sustainability
The TERRA NutriTECH manufacturing cycle reflects the main changes on farms throughout the year from pre-calving products through to maintenance of health and hoof care. Specific deficiencies and problems are targeted with concentrated minerals such as zinc, iodine, copper, selenium etc to correct issues on farms and maintain a healthy herd all year round.
